Unless youve come straight from a monastery and had an arranged nuptial the day before yesterday, you probably have found out that women love getting gifts. Unlike most males, who like utilitarian tools, nearly all wemon will be quite distraught if you give them kitchen ware, even if it does make their lives a lot simpler. For wives, presents should be romantic and sentimental. It should make them feel better about themselves. It should not be something that is related to household work. In their mind, that devalues the gift. Most wives concur that the best gifts are those that are given without a purpose. Just because you remembered them. Not because they have an event like valentines day or a some special occasion. On those days a gift is mandatory and thus it lowers some of its value. The most memorable occasions are those where you bought them a cheap, or worthless gift because you thought of them, or missed them and you wanted to mark some special occasion (that may not really exist) like a first date anniversary, or the first time you took a trip. Something that has emotional value will be
highly valued and much more greatly rewarded.
While the occasional woman might prefer watches, its still too functinal. Stuff like necklaces or bangles is always preferable, but unless you really know her fashion preferences, you can make an expensive effort which will not get the reaction you deserves. Does she prefer rubies over emeralds, round over square designs, nipple rings over toe rings? The permutations are endless and unless you force her fill out a preference list, you might fail to remember when youre buying her gift . You're most likely to make an expensive mistake under those shinning lights and gorgeous sales women, who will without-fail praise your choice of jewelery and effort. Your woman will probably fake appreciation, but unless she really wants that particular piece, shes just counting how much money youve thrown away, and what a moron you are.

Remind her that theres more to life than just housework and relight the romance of when you initially met.
