Unless youve come straight from a life of solitude and had an arranged wedding last week, you probably realized that the ladies love receiving gifts. Unlike most males, who like useful tools, the majority of wives will be very distraught if you give them kitchen ware, even if it does make their lives substantially simpler. For ladies, gifts should be thoughtful and a bit emotional. It should make them feel better about themselves. It should not be something that is utilitarian. To them, that lessens its value. Vast numbers of women agree that the best gifts are those that are given without a reason. Just because you missed them. Not because they have an event like a birthday or a some special occasion. On those days a gift is compulsory and thus it lowers some of its value.
